Privacy Policy

Alpineglow Voice Recorder (“the app”) is made by Jimmy Kang. This policy explains how the app handles your information. In short: the developer does not collect any data.
Recordings and transcripts
Your audio recordings, transcripts, titles and flags are stored only on your device, inside the app. They are never uploaded to the developer or to any server operated by the developer. Deleting a recording, or the app, removes them.
Speech recognition
Transcripts are created with Apple’s Speech framework. When your device supports on-device recognition for your language, audio is processed entirely on your iPhone. If on-device recognition is not available, the audio of a recording is sent to Apple to be transcribed, under Apple’s Privacy Policy. The developer never receives this audio or text. You can turn off Speech Recognition access for the app at any time in iOS Settings.
Microphone
The microphone is used only while you are recording, after you tap the record button.
No accounts, analytics, ads or tracking
The app has no sign-in, contains no analytics or advertising SDKs, does not track you, and does not share data with third parties.
Sharing
If you choose to share a recording or transcript, it is sent through the iOS share sheet to the app or person you pick. That is under your control.
Children
The app does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
